     @cleanycloth@mastodon.social AFAIK, Microsoft will still release updates for EOL Windows if it's desperately needed (i.e. with WannaCry because apparently parts of the NHS still ran on Windows XP well after its EOL)

     so this explains it - for some reason it decided to install a 2009 security update a couple weeks back, a bunch of Office 2007 updates, and on the 4th of June it installed a **May 2019** security update
