     This comic is classic DONGULARITY prehistory. Joke is surely something's still too grotesque or stupid or shameless for reality... then reality starts clearing its throat.

     Satire has lost the arms race. The Onion is now a wire service. The dystopian novelist is just a stenographer. And the comedian is an archivist.

     The phone's always ringing in writers' room but nobody answers because reality always has the punchline.

     @atomicpoet the #Dongularity in its natural habit. This arcade.gov launch has satire nowhere to go alla sudden.
     Now what? Imagine if the fed government made MAGA video games? Too late, reality already registered that domain.

     The moment of the Dongularity is when parody becomes just a slower form of journalism. Just think of the stupidest possible premise & reality says that was last Thursday.

     And we used to worry about propaganda becoming too sophisticated. Instead we got a PLAY NOW button
