   I only now read the to-and-fro you had with W6KME and found my last reply not fitting there. So I re-send it in an individual post to you:
   
   One of the reasons I like your posts is precisely your insistence on well-written phrases and sentences, the self-imposed obligation to discuss things at their level of complexity and not to cater to an audience's desire for a quick mental sugar rush. We often disagree, and we did so especially in the past months, even years, but I find your style of writing and reasoning not just refreshing, in its rareness on social media it always provides an air of coming home. At least to me. Thank you for this.

     And I can say the same about you.

     Yes, we mostly disagree. But would I ever say: do not pollute my timeline with your bullshit? Everyone can see that your posts are carefully crafted and based on a lot of research and reflection. And it also keeps forcing me to go back and reread things and rethink them - and that’s exactly why we do what we do.

     In contrast, the confident platitudes spouted by so many in the Fediverse are truly frightening.

     Which is what I have with a few people, you included, in the Fediverse and on other platforms. Still that's not an excuse for my often coarse tone and combative style. So let me take this opportunity and apologies for all the rough I've put you through in the past months. I'm sorry that I often have been too aggressive to you -- esp. on the one topic we both happen to represent the opposite sides. I wonder what would happen were we to meet over coffee (or beer) in some café (or pub) in Estonia... would we still be that way? Anyway, thank you for the civility you bring to this place here.
