   We know that Pixelfed is photo sharing focused, but sometimes you may want to see text posts and their replies.

   Our new mobile app has a text-only post redesign, making it much easier to view and interact with them.

   You won't see them in feeds, but we may add optional and opt-in text post support in the home feed.

     @arunshah240 Nope, we don't have plans to support text only posting, but we can better support other software that does allow that!
