   @spiegelmama @jernej__s they haven't used all the space for at least ten years. I just cracked open a 1GB card that only used a third of it.

     @ryanc @spiegelmama 1GB wasn't that much even 10 years ago. I remember looking for a card for iRex iLiad e-book reader when I got it in 2006, and had to make sure that the card wasn't larger than 1GB, because that was the maximum officially supported size (technically iLiad only supported MMC cards).
