Amy Acton, Democratic candidate for governor in Ohio, says that law enforcement should work with ICE and that officers should have qualified immunity.
Qualified immunity protects officers from facing legal repercussions when they murder people (usually POC) while on the job.
Between this and her anti-trans political positions, she is essentially a Republican running under the Democratic banner.

I don't know when the Democratic Party will understand that they need stop running Republicans as their candidates.
Right now, leadership seems to be obsessed with pushing out DSA or DSA adjacent candidates who actually represent policies that *real* Democrats might have run on when I was a kid, decades ago.
The party has absolutely lost its way.

I don't know if this is clear, but this is a Dem candidate who has abandoned trans people, and with that, has likely also lost the support of many cis queer people, and she has abandoned people of color.
If you're a Dem, you've essentially given up the election to your GOP opponent at that point. It will be a miracle (or a curse) if she squeaks out a win at this point.
