   Have you ever encountered blu-ray/dvd discs where tiny little hairs of lint or fabric dust or something are so bonded to the surface of the disc that it's virtually impossible to wipe them away?

   It doesn't happen often but it's really frustrating when it does. I wonder what happens to make them THAT stubborn? Is it a particularly intense static charge or what? It's bizarre how hard it is to clean off.

     I'm ripping a blu-ray to an mkv file from a disc with that problem right now. I can hear the blu-ray drive slow down when it encounters too many clingy tiny hairs. I guess it's frustrated by the situation too.

     Cool. It ripped successfully, in spite of the tiny hairs.

     I guess I'm set for the evening.

     The Conjuring (2013) is my next watch. I don't think I've seen it since it came out in theaters in 2013.
