   youtube seems to have added a new defense mechanism where if you download a video way too fast you get 403'ed almost immediately. so use -r 5M and voila

     @Maroon there are a billion factors that go into what gets blocked and what doesn't, ip reputation, version of yt-dlp, etc.
     
     i am using 2026.03.17 on known good IPs, without -r 5M i was getting 403'd mid video, with -r 5M it completed
