Everyday the news is a kaleidoscope of lies.

The lies drive discourse, and people develop strong positions, never realizing it is nothing more than misdirection.

You should instead enjoy your day, find something fun to do. Not because it will make things better. But, because then at least you had something good today.

Consider the proposition that the news is not lies but is bait.

@pista @hazlin That is generally a more interesting question.

(However, the answer is *always* "YHBT". The news is bait.)

@p @hazlin All news is fake news. Always has been.

The question isn't why did something happen or did something happen? It's why does someone want me to hear this?
