Doctor (after poking five long needles into five vertebrae & filling them up with "cement"): Just take Tylenol & you should be good to go.
Me (screaming in post-procedure pain): You're kidding. Can't you refill my pain meds?
Doc: No need! Just heat/ice, Tylenol. (Implied, you broke the "never ask for pain meds" rule. You're probably gonna sell 'em on the street.)
Me (the next day screaming in pain): Fuckfuckfuck! Aaaaaaaargh!!! I'm 72 & in too much pain to even get to the street!
