@kirby Hm this should be considered a Mitra-side issue because most clients assume the default value for exclude_replies is false, so they don't add this parameter by default. However, Mitra sets it to true, which causes Mitra to unexpectedly ignored all replies by default.
I've tested it on Husky and Moshidon, and they don't show replies when I select "Posts and replies."

this issues was caused because bloat didn't have exclude_replies=false added.
mitra web is super fast but i still love pleroma fe. bloat works as an okay substitute but replies aren't displayed when you visit a profile by default. likely fixable in bloat itself, i suspect it's just not feeding upstream an extra param when fetching profile statuses
