Emmanuele BassiHis Grace, the Duke of Ankh, Commander Sir Samuel “Sam” Vimes has passed peacefully today. We managed to get a few more months after his chronic kidney disease progressed to stage 4 earlier this year, but we knew he was on borrowed time. He spent the last two weeks looking for secluded spaces in the house to sleep during the day, and we knew it was time to let him go. He truly was the best boy.
