   @vollink Do you have ntfy installed? (IIRC you may need to sign out and sign back in for Tusky to use ntfy for your notifications, once installed.) https://github.com/tuskyapp/faq#why-are-notifications-less-frequent-with-tusky

     Mastodon on my Android Phone...
     (Question)

     I use Tusky because it remembers where I last left off, and doesn't always jump to "most recent". I really do try to read everything in my feed.

     However, Tusky doesn't always notify me if I get a ping. It always notifies me if I explicitly open it, but that could be a day later.

     So, is there an Android app that is known to always notify for DMs? I have zero issue running two clients, if they both do something important.
