   I feel like queerness looks very different in every culture and that very often, white / western / rich country / individualist society queer and trans people really don’t see that other ways of being queer and trans are also valid and real.

     @skinnylatte I think this happens to every group, regardless of what the group is about.
     Maybe there is even a term for it but I think it comes with the need to belong to a certain identity group and then put fences on what defines the group to "protect the image one's have about the group".

     Pretty sure someone way smarter than me could express it clearly :D
