When unreliable crond meets Let's Encrypt, certs at some point expire. No idea how this can still be an issue after 50 years, but it is.
So my Matrix server was basically dead for 2 weeks.-

@romin That is what caused my issue btw. I changed the cronjob from @weekly to a randomized time on a certain day and after that it never fired once (for months). -
