   I think the trump admin forsee a compliance issue down the road as opinions change, and are attempting to front run it by making some vaccines option, thereby increasing compliance.

     I'm not a fan of childhood vaccines, know parents who's kids were injured, and generally think fucking with the immune system, the long term consequences we don't fully understand, for what are typically survivable diseases is a bit extreme.
     
     I tend to believe vaccine injuries actually exceed the risk of injury from the actual diseases. This is due to the number of administrations vs. those who would not only contract, but would be permanently injured, as a result of disease. Once you run the numbers, it looks a bit funny tbh.

     @Humpleupagus @PNS I'm glad that Trump (and moreso RFK Jr) broke out the schedule, and took pressure off some of the bad ones. Doesn't mean my wife and I aren't arriving at the delivery room with laminated, pre-meditated statements of how we want the whole process to go, though. But it's a nice gesture none the less!

     @Humpleupagus @PNS Eh, we know a lot about long term effects and the few potential side effects. The problem is that the main customer of vaccines is government, and this fucked the product up the same as anything govt does.
