   Weird little bug. When #Mastodon (web) started, it showed 3 new Notifications, but had a link indicating 40 more were waiting, so I clicked the link. Nope.

     @NullNoMore That's helpful to know. It's possible that this is a browser issue. My server is 8 feet from my client, so connection isn't an issue, but browser cache might be. You get it when struggling to connect. I get it with easy connections. I suspect that a cache was stale.

     @steter - I get this regularly, whenever my device is struggling to connect to the internet.
