   Flagship fediverse servers are fundamental to the growth of our network.

   They don't shutdown without notice, and generally are more trusted and actively moderated and updated.

   That being said, as a dev/admin of two flagship servers, it's our responsibility to build and support FULL account migration to other servers, and with LOLA, I'm confident we can do this right.

     @weddige because it's broken and needs to be refactored, which I'm in the process of doing!

     I'd rather disable it until it fully works across software, then enable it in a broken state that causes them to lose followers.

     It hasn't been possible to migrate away from either pixelfed.social or pixelfed.art for over a year now: https://pixelfed.social/site/kb/account-migration

     @weddige I've been busy with Loops for the past year, and I've apologized to the Pixelfed community.

     I can only do so much, but at the same time, I've learned a lot building Loops, and am now able to focus on Pixelfed again, bringing much needed bug fixes, fedi compatibility and stability before any new features are even considered.
