   @ashguy Indeed. It's a great project that was basically done...what..at least a decade ago? And now unless there's a maintainer responsible for minimal maintenance needs in the finished codebase, it's going to disappear from distros and be replaced by whatever ballooning slop monstrosity the now-compromised maintainer prompts the slop extruder to extrude.

     @dalias @ashguy Do you know roughly when the last good version was? There are a lot of git repositories on the XFCE GitLab: I was thinking about dedicating some time to this, given that I don't imagine it'll be too much work to maintain, but it looks intimidating.

     @wizzwizz4 @ashguy I haven't dug into the history yet. Looking for any recent large feature additions, refactors, etc. and going back before the earliest probably makes sense.
