   So there’s a terrible opinion piece going around (not linking to it) that Gen Z women have supposedly some sort of mass psychosis because (allegedly) more of them use mobility aids than previous generations did.

   Literally everyone is one slip on the sidewalk or one trip over cat or one viral infection or one [thousands of other reasons] away from a (at least a temporary) cane or wheelchair.

     @thomasfuchs What this is actually showing is that using a mobility device is less stigmatized than it used to be.

     It's the same false logic used claim that autism is on the rise; no, diagnosis is on the rise. It's reporting bias.
