     @mangeurdenuage@shitposter.world You mean that movie? I have watched it and I have very little positive things to say about it other than the animation looked pretty I guess.
     
     The story is fucking dogshit. They could have told a million sidestories in this universe but instead they had to make up a new avatar nobody ever heard of and shit like that. Also they couldn't even get the fucking original voice actors? For real?
     
     At least it was better than the Netflix adaptation.

     @mangeurdenuage@shitposter.world You can't just change the voice actor of an established character for no reason.
     
     In the original series it was a big fucking deal when uncle Iroh's voice died they made an entire fucking episode to honor him and the person who played Iroh's voice after that also did an absolutely great job.

     Absolutely garbage. The only thing redeeming tlok is the amount of adult content it generated.

     @mangeurdenuage@shitposter.world I don't like this take at all. People are still making amazing media all around us. The only thing that changed here is that the specific people who hold the rights to the Avatar franchise are full of shit now.
