I wonder if all this AI F.U.D. was created by the ruling class to make sure we could dismiss scientific progress whole cloth as something that can only be done and manipulated by capitalism.

This would, in turn, sew distrust in anyone claiming to actually be pursuing scientific progress as a means of liberation from the ruling class.

This causes a rift in the working class and a new level of class division begins.
