I've said this before but Trump won a comfortable but marginal victory in 2024, against an opponent who did everything she could to sabotage herself, and the entire media-political landscape treated him like Reagan 2.0, like his win was a massive sea change in favor of fascist politics which even the "heroic" Democrats were forced to embrace.

And here he is two years later, the least popular president in modern history, and absolutely no one has decided to rethink that assessment.
