   It's funny, I can't really think of a specific moment that radicalized me against LLMs. More of a progressive and iterative process of learning about one harm after another, and of seeing more and more from the labor perspective.

     The closest I can think of to a discontinuous change in my own radicalization is realizing how much of LLM productization is driven by Bostrom-coded eugenics. That is not obvious from the outset, but once I realized? Gods.

     Even that, though, happened pretty gradually. When I first learned about that connection, I didnt realize how pervasive it was. That realization came as piecemeal as anything else.

     @xgranade same yeah. the underlying social tectonics were a tipoff for me... understanding the people most invested (fiscally but especially non fiscally) and who else they were connected to made it clearer what the technology's animating ideology was, what it was really "for". to understand something, look at who thinks of it as normal, desirable, ideal, and who thinks of it as the opposite.

     @jplebreton @xgranade Exactly. I saw from day one that it was the exact same scammers behind it as the last few rounds of scams, with their exact same politics. There never was any question.
