@TheEntity @davidgerard @zzt @vv Even though I believe in technical paths by which these results can probably be achieved, the thing is that it's not clear what the social outcomes would be. Personally I've found a lot of the conversation from people taking the hypotheticals to be useful. I don't want to inundate people with the reasons I believe such an approach is possible, but it's something I've considered focusing my time on before, and so the question of "but what does the world look like if successful" still sits in my mind.

If you want specifics, I've been a bit more specific in this part of the thread, and I could be more specific elsewhere, but here I was interested in what people felt like the social implications would be.

It's ok if that's not an engaging thought exercise to you, but it is meaningful to me, as I consider what kind of work to do.
