Initially, a court ruled in favor of Cerosetenta and freedom of expression, finding the publication did not violate the fundamental rights of the former candidate, as he had argued. But that decision was overturned on appeal.
The investigation was published on May 11 and used open sources and material from the former candidate himself to – among other things – demonstrate apparent interactions with a Bogota-based neo-Nazi group, the local branch of the international Active Club movement.
