     Yeah they are....but this is one of those old timey illnesses that we "cured" before they figured out the pay-as-play health care system

     I mean it can....but most docs would tell you to get antibiotics...especially if its gone longer than 3 or 4 days.

     @SarahGation I've had strep throat all week. Yesterday i accidentally took too much cough syrup. Today I'm on cough drops.
