     @gamingonlinux Posting messages on an open fediverse platform like Mastodon and then redirect follow-up interactions/discussions to a proprietary platform is not what we need. Let's stop giving the crazy rich ppl the potential opportunity to buy their way into yet another place to promote their hate. Promote the fediverse!

     @gamingonlinux @AestheticFemboy @mortn I would avoid to rely on Reddit much after they did the shady deal with Google. ;)

     Beside size isn't all. In my experience, the smaller communities like the webforums is where you get real audience that helps to expand later. Mastodon itself isn't big as "big tech services" but I get much better engagement than I saw on other services that push an algorithm curated feed.
