    @newsguyusa officially this could suspend USMNT from the tournament. Political interference isn't allowed according to FIFA's statutes. There is a strict third-party non-interference principle. The question is what this still is worth today. FIFA is committing suicide.

      President Trump confirms to reporters in the Oval Office he asked FIFA to review of the penalty given to US forward Folarin Balogun during the World Cup, even though he initially didn’t know what a red card meant.

      The referee responsible is "very suspect,” according to Trump.
