    Over the past two years, quant funds have had a comeback in China after a dismal 2024 where they were blamed for market volatility.

    In 2025, thanks to AI, Chinese quant funds beat human stock pickers by 20 percentage points.

    The biggest surprise to me is that human asset managers are still so popular worldwide.
