   I JUST GOT FIRED :lamoooooo:
   I showed up and my supervisor said they're letting me go. Why? I have to call HR tomorrow to find out. Can I call them now? No, they're closed for the day. Why wouldn't they just call me earlier today instead of letting me drive all the way to work?!

     At-will employment means an employer can dismiss an employee for any reason or no reason at all, without warning, provided the dismissal does not violate the law. Likewise, employees are free to quit their jobs at any time without advance notice.

     I have reached a point in my life where I am obsolete to the workplace. Every job I get, I'm competing with healthier men half my age or DEI check boxes of every flavor.
     It's over. I'm a simply an elderly Walmart greeter now. :its_over_a:
