   Pixelfed has a related hashtags feature, and I'm thinking maybe we should create a global corpus to help curate them.

     @dansup It would be kinda cool to have a "map" of related hashtags that you could explore, if that's what you mean. Tbh I find it confusing at times trying to figure out which hashtags exist and are popular if you don't already use them. Some are obvious, but others are clearly references/in-jokes you wouldn't consider if you weren't familiar with them!

     @GarrickWinter interesting idea, applying a user specific context to them, I think that is a great idea, we could use hashtags you used before, and interacted with as a signal, and rank them against HashtagRank.

     @evan yeah tags.pub would be perfect for this, you could easily calculate related hashtags based on the prevalence of them appearing together, and your database will likely exceed pixelfed.social in the next year, so I think it's something to consider, because I'd love to integrate this into Pixelfed!
