   AI crypto-cultists go off about how we won't be able to stop people from stealthing vibe slop into our projects, but I find that the people who would do that can't stop talking about the idea of doing it, and it's pretty easy to just ban everyone who talks about doing that.

     This whole talking point of theirs amounts to a rape fantasy. The idea that violating our consent makes it particularly salacious and that, if they succeed in getting their vibe slop into our repos, we're supposed to feel dirty and shameful and permanently impure. Rather than, like, them being forever seen as monsters.

     @dalias the amount of shitty attitude towards consent in the whole "AI" bullshit is staggering. Stealing people's work, making fake porn of people, jamming it into everything. It's a pretty major feature of it all
