From the things that make me happier than they should department: new rice cooker has a rice paddle holder and, more importantly, a handle on the underside of the lid.

Someone worked out that it's convenient to put the pan and lid in the fridge and it ALWAYS fits the fridge better when the lid is inverted. Sun goddess in the product design section.
