I got a report on Loops.video about what appeared to be a pro-israeli video, and the reporter mentioned how they can't believe hate speech and fake news isn't being moderated

But when I watched the video, it was a parody.

Now I ask you, is this video actually hate speech and should I take it down?

@dansup Hilarious stuff. Or it would be if the context weren't as serious as it is.

Definitely not hate speech. The same people have lots of similar videos about a variety of topics behind the link in the post.

@dansup tbh I do not envy you. I can't imagine how difficult it can be running a service where people post content with their opinions and others want you to take it down. Maybe a clear policy set early would be a good idea. Idk if you have one. Inevitably, there's going to be more demands.

@TazPoltorak Yeah, we do have a community guidelines, and it can be difficult to judge sometimes.

I wish I had a team of moderators to manage this, and come up with a community approach with the ability to request a review and a potential restoration of affected content.

@dansup not hate speech. It is even hard to call it a parody because there is no exageration, it is the israeli state rhetoric
