   I do house viewings and was showing an older couple around a garage which had been converted to a man cave. The lady said to her husband that this would be his "glory hole", then started to tell me how he loved a glory hole and every man needs one.

     @fesshole She was using the word in its original meaning. My gran had a gloryhole (small room off the bedroom full of odds & ends). It was after ~1940 when gay men used the word to mean what the current most common meaning.
