   the main nitter server only has one power supply and I think it's starting to give out. I woke up yesterday and it was off, had to get remote hands to physically plug/unplug. it's a supermicro chassis and only takes one PSU which is fucking stupid (ryzen consumer hardware in a server chassis). I wonder if I can buy one off ebay and get it delivered to the datacenter instead of having some dedicated courier do it

     not driving 30 hours to use rubing alcohol on contacts when I can buy a PSU off ebay for 40$. the server sites sell refurb'd ones for like 3x that + 50 deilvery, then I have to pay 20$ for the datacenter to receive it for some reason they dont just let people ship shit for free

     it makes me wonder if it could even be the cable because it's sporadic. it will happen 3 times in one day and then not again for weeks, months

     contact cleaner works wonders on most connectors, ive had intermittent issues on sata cables
