   I’m on the fringes of a Claude-adjacent discussion. I’ve been abundantly clear that I want nothing to do with it.

   It’s being considered for a thing I’ve put some prior thinking into.

   Thing is, even if it works on a superficial level (or deeper), its use is antithetical to the project.

   Tech continues to make me want to abandon tech

     @zeri @urlyman They can do that in their projects and run them into the ground. We want none of that shit invading our spaces.

     @urlyman I think total opposition is useless here, people will just find something where it works well and then ignore all the damage from all the somethings where it makes extra work, digs the hole faster, runs down teh wrong alley faster, or starts 1000 tool calls to find something in the build artifacts. In my experience it's best to drill people with "do it in a sandbox, use it to try something out real quick. then spend real time and real brainpower with transplanting working solutions."
