   Gosh, what other group of fascists fled to Argentina to avoid the consequences of their action? If only history had something to teach us here.

     I know Spanish/English Interpreters and they don't like dealing with Argentinians specifically. Western Hemisphere Spanish is unique in the world because there is a shared language but it is such a large area that there are many different dialects and regional/cultural influences.

     They look down on anyone not using the PROPER Spanish (Argentinian, BTW) and you will be harshly corrected by every Argentinians for using the wrong word for a "soda straw"

     I did NAZI that coming.

     The Spanish translation for a Drinking straw varies drastically by country:
     Popote: Mexico
     Pajita: Spain, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay
     Pitillo: Colombia, Venezuela
     Pajilla: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua
     Sorbete: Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay
     Cañita: Peru, Chile
     Bombilla: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay
     Sorbeto: Puerto Rico
     Carrizo: Panama, Ecuador
     Calimete: Dominican Republic
     Absorbente: Cuba
     Pipeta: Equatorial Guinea
