   I know there's tons of people online who loathe AI but outside that bubble it seems your average normgroid is all too happy to outsource their thinking to Claude or whatever, unless I'm misreading things

     I have spent so many hours trying to inoculate my older family members to the super giga powered AI scams that are coming their way, even so I am not optimistic. One of them lost money to nigerian scammers so many times, his bank refused to let him transfer money anymore. If he gets a call from a "woman" with a believable sob story and AI generated bikini photos, he's gonna give away his house.

     Yeah thats pretty much it. Even construction niggas are using it to check building code and stuff. It's wrong a lot, as you'd imagine.
