   I went to the grocery store yesterday and they really were playing "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.

   It's has to be at least 30 years since the last time I've heard that song played in a normal way.

   As soon as it came on, I felt like I just got punked by someone. It was as if I picked up a loaf of bread that was sitting on a switch or I opened the wrong freezer door.

     @sysop408 — imagine being so old that for you, it went from a song you listened to in its original unironic form on the radio when it was new to oldie to meme to rickroll to come back full circle to being just some song at the grocery store.
