   Worked my ars of drawing a house in rhino 3D for a customer

   But I had no way of rendering my drawing, not even with solid colors but only in black and white. Which is enough for drawings and building permits. but in this day and age when the kids are using AI to make stuff that looks like real photos

   So got an account at fenestra.app since they support rhino.3dm file upload

   But instead of giving me the tools to apply materials I had to prompt an AI

   Which was a scam and a waste of time

     I use it for drafting letters and pleadings. It's not perfect, but it does save time if you know how to prompt it.

     My boss was pushing me everyone to use it about a year ago. It's great for simple stuff you could do faster yourself, but one something gets complicated AI just falls flat on its face

     I now understand AI and how extremely unprofessional it is

     Not at all worried that AI prompters will take the work away from real creative artists

     What I had to do was to prompt an AI and make it pick the colors and materials for me, when it would have been a 100 times more effective to just pick and edit the materials on my own

     I am a professional CAD drawer with thousands of hours of experience in Rhino

     Working with AI is like expecting a professional result from a retarded toddler

     No one forced me. I tried this solution because I no longer have the flamingo plugin to rhino.

     I run windows7 in a virtualBox with rhino on it. When I was a student at a design school over 2 decades ago I had the plugins for rendering. But since then I have mostly used rhino for my own production and thus I never needed the colors and materials.

     I have a construction company now and mostly just use rhino for making simple 2D drawings for construction.

     That is in a way a life hack that I support.

     By sampling and memorizing all text ever input to the model it can actually be useful. Especially for pleading.

     But it is not creating texts. It is rather sampling bits and parts from texts that humans created.

     I write at the same speed as I talk. But I have no legal training so AI and then proof reading it would be great. I also have no respect for the legal system since it is all Jewish.

     Yup. And it's been done a million times so why reinvent 90% of the wheel, when you can do surgical edits on 10%.
     
     It's not ready for laymen though. It still takes skill to get the 10% done and to recognize the errors.
     
     Nonetheless, letters that used to take an hour plus, take 20 minutes etc.
     
     It gives me more time to goof off. I'm not one of the guys who live it. It's just pays for my family, hobbies, and affords me a bit of free time here and there if I keep my workload balanced.
     
     I'm a real person. I got other shit I'd rather be doing.

     In a way AI is just a simple magic trick.

     For those who do not know what and how it is doing what it is ding it might appear as a miracle and blow people away.

     But as soon as you look behind the smoke and mirrors the illusion is dispelled.

     No professional drawer will be impressed by AI.

     Well that was basically how I was able to create the 1 useful drawing, colored and materials.

     By adding. Do not change any of the details from my rhino.3dm model.

     But I could see what it was doing, on the other side of the screen it was just adding materials and colors and lights and background, wallpaper.

     Which is easy if you have the software.

     It will be a 100 times cheaper for a professional to just buy the plugin.

     Rhino sell lifetime licenses.
