   One of the weirder US things (that's not a super serious issue) is blue-bubble pressure.

   I can't personally tell how big a deal this really is but I hear about it a lot so I guess it is to some people at least.

   This is not a thing in Europe, like at all.

     @aesthr I had to look it up to understand and it's familiar that it's a thing, but not something I've ever had to deal with - everyone here uses WhatsApp or Signal so almost no-one cares what colour your chat bubbles are in iMessage.

     ... assuming that's what you meant!

     You mean the thing about people caring about whether their text messages have a blue or green bubble?

     I’ve definitely heard about it but I’ve never myself (in the US) actually encountered it for real.
