National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)

Note: This post deviates from my regular, mental health-related blog content. But it felt like a good thing to talk about, and no one is here to stop me, so here you go. When I was a graduate student, I signed up for the National Marrow Donor Program (at the time known as Be The Match). They are a national (United States) registry of people who are willing to donate bone marrow to a stranger should the opportunity arise.
