     The problem with the trucker protest is the same as all current le based protestums.
     
     Big giant flag-waving peaceful law-abiding parties might be fun, but they DON'T ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING. Except give the powers-that-be the opportunity to collect data on people for ongoing oppression.
     
     'Patriots' gather in one place, wave their flags, and peacefully and conscientiously follow the rules and laws as set out by the very regime intent on our people's destruction. March here, don't march there, disperse by whatever hour, follow these precise guidelines or you'll be dispersed and arrested. GG team we all made our voices heard (the media doesn't report it or misrepresents it, protest was probably kept a good distance from whatever focal point was chosen, especially anything government related), let's all go home and see you here same time next year. Some of you will be imprisoned for wrong-think or whatever befoire then but at least we'll be able to hold our heads high knowing we "DiDn't sToOp To ThEiR lEvEl".
     There's a conflict between seeing yourself as a "good law abiding citizen" and trying to protest a government which is by all accounts totally out of control and malignant.
     
     Spring Break causes more of a concern to authorities than most of these 'patriotic' protests.
     
     The secondary issue is that we can't have honest open conversations about any of it. We can acknowledge the problem, and that's as far as it goes. At least around here. Across much of the West it's legally actionable to discuss maybe even this far.
     
     And for the sake of my non-1A protected frens, that's where my comment comes to an end. Enjoy your Sunday, folks. 🍻
