    So uh, is it a "widely accepted sentiment" that agentic coding is the future of software developers?

    Like....I have seen this assertion made, and certainly a lot of prominent dev *influencers* think this, but I am not convinced it is the majority opinion. (Especially because genai "mandates" are still necessary)

      Widely accepted??

      Whether and how LLMs should be involved in coding is the single most divisive question I’ve ever encountered in my 40-some years of software development. It makes static vs dynamic types or text editor wars look like tiddlywinks by comparison. I’ve never seen so many developers ready to set things on fire over how to write code.
