   Gosh, I wonder why every government and company everywhere wants to bind your personal ID to everything you do online.

   Surely it's about the children.

   Not coming after anyone for having opinions that deviate from what the government wants. Perhaps you think trans women are women, or a certain country shouldn't starve its helots to death, or that the government should build affordable rental units.

   No, surely it's about keeping children off Facebook. Yep.
