To those (in the US) who insist others "touch grass"...
You should be aware grass is not native to the US, consumes half our municipal water, and the machinery used to maintain this useless "crop" produces almost as much particulate pollution as all the cars on the road.
So no, I'd rather not "touch grass". Perhaps a nice moss instead.

Does moss work as ground cover to prevent erosion in the same places the US is using non-native grass?
I'm sure there must be suitable ground covers that are far less water-intemsive, that we should use instead. -
