   There's some kind of plundering or f***ery attached to this in some way. There's no reason for Palantir to be doing anything at all with the US ag system, IMHO.

     "Support for farmers" is quite the euphemism. Farmers don't need software to tell them how to optimize their area of expertise, and if they did they could arrange for that themselves.

     I have zero doubt that Palantir's management suggestions will be used as leverage to withhold funding as a means to control food production, local/state politics, and everything downstream of those.

     Now I'm wondering if Thiel was behind Trump trying to empty an agricultural reservoir in California last year.
