   Am I really doing anything that matters?

   I've spent the past few months on Loops working on new features like Starter Kits, QuotePosts, Creator Analytics, AR Filters, Push Notifications, Gif Keyboard and more, yet it feels like nobody cares.

   Maybe the fediverse would be better off without me, and that hurts so much to think, I've spent the last 8 years building Pixelfed and other projects.

   I won't give up though, maybe I just need to focus more and ship some Pixelfed updates.

     @mpjgregoire I don't think its burnout, rather I'm noticing less and less engagement on announcements and update posts.

     It is worrying to me as I spent so much time on Loops, and want to bring the improved federation logic to Pixelfed to make it more stable and less buggy, but the negative feedback about Pixelfed is really getting to me.

     I'd be lost without Pixelfed and Loops, these are my babies and I want them to succeed, but it feels like nobody is interested anymore

     This doesn't sound much like you, @dansup . Consider that you might be in the early stages of burn-out. Maybe book a vacation somewhere you can put your cares aside?

     @dansup Yes, what you're doing really matters! What you're building is just amazing, and makes the Internet even better!

     The proof: Pixelfed is the 2nd most used Fedi software, and it's ranked #12 on the app store

     Another proof: the Loops FYP has reached over 2 years of watch time!

     Loops is in beta for now, and honestly, I've rarely seen a beta software with so many features
